'Devious Maids' Star Dania Ramirez Teases Resurrected Relationships & Love Triangle Craziness!
Lifetime

The twists and turns just keep on coming!

This season of Devious Maids is proving to be the most shocking one yet thanks to fresh faces, new murders, and old husbands coming back from the dead. (Just your typical Beverly Hills drama, right?)

To get the scoop on the juiciest storyline of the season, ETonline called up star Dania Ramirez to talk all about Rosie's extremely "complicated" love triangle involving her new groom Spence (Grant Show) and her other husband Ernesto (Cristián de la Fuente), whom she thought died in Mexico years ago. Cue the dun dun duuuun!

"I was shocked!" Ramirez said of when she first found out that Ernesto was actually alive. "But I really loved [the twist]. I thought that it was a different way to create more of a love triangle for Rosie and Spence, and that's always interesting… This season we get to peel back all of the different layers of Rosie. It’s been super fun getting to explore that."

Now that Rosie discovered the truth (and fainted!) at one of the most jaw-dropping weddings in Devious Maids' history, this week's hour is all about Rosie coming to terms with the truth. "Tonight's episode is actually really great because Rosie won't stay in the dark for any longer," the brunette beauty shared. "That's what I love about the show this year. We're really throwing in these dilemmas and then having the characters deal with them right away."

Ramirez confessed that Rosie is now going to have to listen carefully to what her heart really wants. "Rosie is also going to have to deal with the fact that Ernesto is the father of her son and, if you've been watching from season one, you know that family is all that matters to her," the actress explained. "She's going to have to take her son into consideration now that she's dealing with the fact that Ernesto is very much alive, and very much still in love with her, and very much trying to get her back."

Adding to her confusion, Rosie must also confront the marriage-related grey area that she is currently living in. "She's going to face the question of what it means to the church when you marry someone and then also what happens when her husband -- who she thought was dead -- is actually alive. The question is going to get thrown out there: 'Is her marriage [to Spence] valid?'"

She added, "Also, she married Ernesto in Mexico and she married Spence in the United States, so what does that mean?" We don’t know, but we can't wait to find out!

So is Ramirez on Team Ernesto or Team Spence? "I want to just see Rosie happy," she said. "So she has to figure it out for herself what that is."
