In just over four months James Corden has already proven to be one of the funniest, most innovative late night hosts ever, and his re-make of the 1989 pop hit "Opposites Attract" just goes to show how brilliant he really is.
Teaming up with former American Idol judge Paula Abdul on Tuesday’s show, and donning a perfect MC Skat Kat costume, they recreated Paula's classic on The Late Late Show stage, and the results are simply amazing.
Is it just us or does Paula look totally stunning? More importantly, how does James dance THAT WELL in a full cat costume? It's absolutely mind-blowing.
The original music video tells the story of a woman and a cartoon cat who want to hook up despite being polar opposites (for example, one is a human woman and the other is a cat. The '80s were weird). Here's the iconic original so you can see how brilliant James and Paula's redux really is.
Between remaking classic pop culture moments and carpool karaoke and taking over people's homes to shoot an episode, The Late Late Show is quickly carving out its own territory in the crowded late-night landscape.
Check out the video below for a look at James and Justin Bieber singing carpool karaoke.
