Kim Zolciak Petitions for 'Dancing With the Stars' Return After Being Forced to Withdraw

Despite the mini stroke she suffered last week, Kim Zolciak is asking fans to help bring her back to Dancing With the Stars.

The 37-year-old former Real Housewives of Atlanta star was eliminated from the dance competition show on Monday after her health scare forced her to skip the night's live performance. According to DWTS rules, she was forced to withdraw from competition.

"Sign this petition to bring @tonydovolani and me back. I was cleared to dance on Friday when I was discharged from the hospital, so Saturday morning I was up rehearsing not even 12 hrs after. I had no restrictions BUT flying until today. Yes the timing sucked but ultimately my health is first. I wanted to dance here in ATL via satellite last night I can dance I just couldn't fly. I'm forever grateful for my dance partner @tonydovolani who has always supported me and All Of you my amazing fans!!!!!!!! Regardless I'll be dancing my ass off at the finale," Zolciak captioned in a photo of herself with pro partner Tony Dovolani. .

So far the petition has more than 16,000 signatures.

As of Sunday, Zolciak was recovering at home in Atlanta, Georgia and the reality star documented her journey via Instagram.

"Going in for one more procedure, things are looking up! Don't let the oxygen scare you, it's just protocol," she captioned a hospital selfie on Friday. "I wanted THANK all of you for the love! I feel so overwhelmed with all the texts, comments etc. I'm so grateful to have all of you! #TheyDontCallMeToughieForNothing"

On Tuesday, Zolciak continued to rally her fans for a DWTS return, pointing them to an online petition.

Her DWTS elimination didn't break her bond with Dovolani. Zolciak snapped a shot of him keeping her company.

"This guy @tonydovolani has been by my side for 2 days!" she wrote on Instagram. "He even brings me my favorite coffee. Although he is always dancing around the room. LOL he keeps me smiling! So blessed to be surrounded by such great people. Want to go home so bad! Hopefully tomorrow! #GoingStirCrazy #BlessingInDisguse"
