In case you didn't already know how ripped Ian Somerhalder really is, this skin-baring trailer for The Vampire Diaries’ seventh season has Somerhalder's Damon Salvatore putting his toned abs on full display.
Somerhalder posted a trailer for the upcoming season to Instagram on Tuesday, which he teased with the caption, "Why is Damon naked in this new Vampire Diaries Trailer...?"
So why is Damon naked? Well, this being the first season without his true love Elena Gilbert (Nina Dobrev), it's likely not love-related.
With the casual way he throws his towel over Alaric's (Matt Davis) face, their bromance seems to becontinuing to develop. Or maybe Damon (and Somerhalder for that matter) just likes walking around naked.
The new season of The Vampire Diaries premieres Thursday, Oct. 8 at 8 p.m. ET/PT on The CW.
