Tina Fey and Amy Poehler are returning to their old 30 Rock stomping grounds to host Saturday Night Live this weekend and two teamed up with former castmate Kenan Thompson for some hilarious promos on Tuesday.

“I feel like I don’t even need to be here,” says Thompson.

“Yeah, but it’s nice to know you are,” Poehler replies, as the two squeeze their buddy in a bear hug “until the candy comes out.”

In another moment, Fey and Poehler introduce themselves in unison, reading the same lines from the cue cards.

“We are contractually obligated to. It’s the result of a long legal battle between us,” they say simultaneously. “What a loose, fun time we are all having.”

The funny ladies also lament the unseasonably warm New York weather, but make use of their snowman supplies by dressing up Thompson.

Fey and Poehler are currently promoting their new comedy Sisters, in which the two play adult siblings who team up to throw one last rager at their childhood home, but the former SNL co-stars have been working together for over 20 years since meeting at Chicago’s Second City.

“We were both told separately, like, ‘This girl, you're gonna like her. You guys are gonna get along,’ and I think the fact that we were put together as teammates has really shaped us,” Fey told ET earlier this month. “I think we really think of ourselves as teammates in every context.”

“Yeah, it was kind of like an arranged marriage that worked,” Poehler agreed.
