The Big Bang Theory star Jim Parsons gets overwhelmed when Theresa Caputo connects him and his sister, Julie Pruski, with their dad on an upcoming episode of Long Island Medium.

Jim and Julie's father, Jack Parsons, died in a car accident in 2001, leaving behind his wife and children, but Caputo was able to make a connection through strong readings she said she was getting from the late patriarch.

Julie was particularly blown away when Caputo said she saw her dad hand their mother red roses in August, as August is the month of their anniversary and roses were "their flower."

"When Theresa talked about red roses and August I knew that's my parents' anniversary," she said in a clip. "Red roses -- that's the flower he gave her!"

"It was very intense and very moving," Jim told ET afterward. "She's the right medium -- I guess you would say -- to get across some deep messages. I just love her. I was only sorry when we had to stop."

In the upcoming season, Caputo does readings for other celebrities, including Susan Lucci and Jamie-Lynn Sigler, but despite her contact with celebs, she's still surprised when stars are fans of hers.

"I don't think that I'm famous, so when I did all the celebrity reads the first thing they would say to me is, 'Oh my God! I'm such a huge fan. I watch your show!' and I'm like, 'What? Are you kidding me?'"

Jim's episode kicks off the second half of Long Island Medium's sixth season, which launches Jan. 3 on TLC.
