Well, some Gilmore Girls fans will be happy!
Matt Czuchry will return to reprise his role as Logan Huntzberger in Netflix's revival of the beloved WB family drama, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
Czuchry appeared in the show's final three seasons as Rory's (Alex Bledel) on-again, off-again boyfriend and heir to the Huntzberger newspaper fortune. Originally a troublemaking playboy, Logan settled down for Rory, and ultimately proposed in the show's penultimate episode. While she initially turned him down, perhaps Czuchry's casting indicates Rory had a change of heart at some point?
The actor -- who went on to play Cary Agos on The Good Wife -- joins returning original cast members Bledel, Lauren Graham, Scott Patterson, Kelly Bishop, Keiko Agena, Sean Gunn and Yanic Truesdale for the revival, which will reportedly consist of four 90-minute movies. Original producers Amy Sherman-Palladino and Daniel Palladino will write and direct all of the episodes.
After months of speculation, Netflix finally confirmed the revival on Friday, and Graham tweeted her excitement about returning to Stars Hollow.
"I CAN NOW CONFIRM: it's time for me, and this jacket I stole in 2007, to return to work," she tweeted, along with a smiley pic.
In omnia paratus!
