Apparently, when you're the President of the United States, no spoilers are off limits!
While the rest of us have to endure 11 more days until we discover the fate of Jon Snow in Game of Thrones' highly anticipated sixth season, President Barack Obama has already been granted early access to all of Westeros' biggest secrets.
"For both of us, finding out the President wanted advanced copies of the episodes was an 'aha' moment," Weiss revealed. "That was a very strange moment."
Weiss confirmed that they indeed sent over advance episodes to "the leader of the free world" despite the fact that HBO decided not to send any screeners to journalists or industry insiders.
"When the commander-in-chief says 'I want to see advanced episodes,' what are you gonna do?" Benioff added.
We've now officially reached Cersei-levels of jealousy over this news.
For everyone else who is not running the country, Game of Thrones' sixth season premieres Sunday, April 24 at 9 p.m. ET/PT on HBO.
