EXCLUSIVE: Kelly Ripa Is Giving 'Live!' Co-Workers 'Radio Silence,' Staffers Uncertain of Show's Future

A source tells ET that the future of the show is still up in the air.

Michael Strahan's pending departure from Live! With Kelly and Michael has left those working on the daytime talk show feeling uncertain as to what the future holds, a source close to the ABC program tells ET.

Kelly Ripa is scheduled to resume her co-hosting duties on Tuesday, but many on staff question whether she'll actually be willing to sit next Strahan when that day comes.

The source adds that Ripa has not reached out to any of her Live! co-workers, and has instead chosen to give them "radio silence," while Strahan has taken "the high road."

This would be the second time the 45-year-old TV personality has been told last minute that a co-host of hers would be exiting the show, according to the source. The first time being Regis Philbin.

Philbin, however, has come to Ripa's defense upon learning that Strahan will be leaving Live! in September to take on a full-time position at Good Morning America. "I haven't talked to anybody," the 84-year-old entertainer said when asked if he's been in contact with his former co-host. "[Executive producer Michael] Gelman, you know ...I don't want to know. I know what it is.They should have told her in the beginning."
