Now that we've already learned all the backstories of our favorite Camp Firewood counselors and campers
, it's time to jump forward in time to see what everyone is like 10 years after the original film in a new Netflix original series, Wet Hot American Summer: Ten Years Later
"Let's all promise that in 10 years from today, we'll meet again, and we'll see what kind of people we've blossomed into," Ben, aka a fresh-faced Bradley Cooper, told his fellow campers at the end of the 2001 cult classic flick.
The Netflix continuation of the raunchy comedy franchise will be set in 1991 -- 10 years after the events in the original film -- and will include eight all-new 30-minute episodes.
Executive producers David Wain and Michael Showalter, who penned last year’s prequel-themed Wet Hot American Summer: First Day of Camp, will once again write all the episodes.
Casting for this flash-forward series will be announced at a later date, but it’s safe to say that most, if not all, of Camp Firewood will be back.
