It's time to boldly go where no Trekkie has gone before!
To celebrate the 50th anniversary of Star Trek's 1966 TV premiere, ET is unveiling two never-before-seen photos featuring three of your favorite Enterprise crew members.
The exclusive pics feature stars Leonard Nimoy, William Shatner, and George Takei looking adorably young in their Starfleet uniforms on the set of the first Stark Trek movie in 1976.
Our behind-the-scenes photos come straight from Roddenberry Entertainment, the original creators of the iconic franchise, as part of Project 366, a year-long celebration of the milestone anniversary.
Every day this year, the production company is digging into its galactic vault to release photos, documents, memos, script excerpts, and more from Star Trek creator Gene Roddenberry and the original cast.
And if that Trekkie treasure trove isn't enough to put a smile on your face at full warp speed, a Star Trek reboot is headed our way.
CBS Television Studios previously announced that the network will launch a completely new Star Trek TV series in January 2017.
According to CBS' press release, the series will "introduce new characters seeking imaginative new worlds and new civilizations, while exploring the dramatic contemporary themes that have been a signature of the franchise since its inception in 1966."
