New details for Netflix’s Gilmore Girls revival are here, and it’s a doozy!

Lauren Graham
dropped by Ellen DeGeneres’ daytime talk show to reveal the title of the anticipated four-part series for the very first time.

“It’s called Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life,” the 49-year-old actress shared.

Graham also revealed that the four episodes -- each 90 minutes long -- will be set during each season, beginning with winter and ending with fall.

The Parenthood alum got a bit emotional discussing her beloved Gilmore Girls character, Lorelai.

“It’s been the most incredible experience. I cry trying to talk about it because I feel so lucky to be able to get to do it,” she admitted.

“But it’s also been so bizarre because I open the door and we’re across the street from you,” Graham said to DeGeneres, who films on the same Warner Bros. lot, “which wasn’t the case before. The set is the same but we’re in a different place. So it’s like it was yesterday, but it wasn’t yesterday.”

Graham still seemed shell-shocked that she was revisiting the same character she played for seven seasons all those years ago.

“I loved this character so much and I had the same feeling I had when I first opened that script, which was just such a deep connection,” she said. “To get to do it again, who would’ve imagined?”

The new Gilmore Girls series will reunite everyone’s favorite Stars Hollow crew.

Graham will be joined by original stars Alexis Bledel, Scott Patterson, Melissa McCarthy, Scott Patterson, Kelly Bishop, Keiko Agena, Yanic Truesdale, Liza Weil, Sean Gunn, Jared Padalecki, Milo Ventimiglia and Matt Czuchry, among others.
