Rob Kardashian
and Blac Chyna’s new docu-series will be well worth your time, at least according to family friend Ryan Seacrest.

Last week, E! ordered a one-hour, six-episode series, Rob & Chyna, that promises to chronicle the couple’s journey as they prepare to welcome their first child together. An additional special will celebrate the birth of the newest Kardashian.

“These two have been covered in the media, as you know, quite a bit recently,” Seacrest, who will executive produce the new show, told ET’s Jennifer Peros on Monday at the Council of Fashion Designers of America Fashion Awards.

“I think that they’re excited to let cameras into all aspects of their life and it should be a compelling, fun show,” the 41-year-old former American Idol host added.

“They’re in a happy, great place with this baby on the way.”

Kardashian and Chyna have been in a whirlwind romance, announcing their engagement in April after dating for just two months. Soon after, the couple revealed in May that they were expecting a baby.

Seacrest said that he's happy for his friend and the strides he’s been making in his life.

“I’ve known him a long time,” Seacrest said of Kardashian. “He and I used to work out together a couple years ago. We’d run on the treadmill together and push each other, so I’m happy to see he’s doing better.”

“Happiness and peace, we like!” he said.

Rob & Chyna
will premiere on E! later this year.
