EXCLUSIVE: 'Flipping Out' Star Jeff Lewis Is 'Sure' He'll 'Make a Lot of Mistakes' With New Baby

Bravo

The Bravo series is back for season nine on Wednesday night.

Jeff Lewis is going to be a dad -- and ET has your first look at the Flipping Out star’s fertility journey.

The 46-year-old and his partner, Gage Edward, announced earlier this year that they are expecting their first child via surrogate. Now, fans will get to see the whole process unfold on the Bravo show’s new season.

In ET’s exclusive clip from Wednesday night’s premiere episode, Jeff and Gage discuss the process of IVF -- and the hard choice of whose embryo to implant.

“We decided to go with mine first, because I’m a little older than Gage,” Jeff admits. “Even though I look amazing for my age, I am a little older.”

“The embryo that’s a girl, that’s yours, she’s an HB,” Gage says. “An HB is an 85 percent chance it’ll take … Your next two are 45 percent chance each … They’re a little slower than the rest.”

“How sad,” Jeff confesses, learning that Gage’s embryos have a 90 percent chance of taking.

Still, Jeff stays positive -- he’s just looking forward to becoming a father, whether the child is biologically his or not.

“I mean, I’d like to think I’m gonna be a good parent,” Jeff adds, “but I’m sure I’m gonna make a lot of mistakes. We should just have two in case I f**k up the first one.”

Flipping Out’s ninth season premieres on Wednesday night at 10 p.m. ET on Bravo. The two-night premiere continues on Thursday at 9 p.m. ET -- its regular time slot moving forward.
