EXCLUSIVE: Jane Thinks About Removing Her Tattoos While Under Duress in Cut 'Blindspot' Scene

The first season DVD and Blu-ray set is in stores now.

What do you do when you’re under duress? Talk about important things, like how to remove tattoos!

That’s what happens in this scene between Jane (Jaimie Alexander) and Patterson (Ashley Johnson) from Blindspot’s first season that ended up on the cutting room floor, which ET exclusively premieres from the DVD and Blu-ray set.

“This is Patterson and Jane, who have a real fun, special relationship talking about the realities of the tattoo removal,” creator and executive producer Martin Gero explained. “It’s one of those scenes that in the writing, we thought was really fun and Ashley and Jaimie did such a great job with it.”

“But they already knew that something terrible was happening, so having this casual conversation as they’re climbing down through the air shaft vents seemed slightly out of place,” he continued. Watch the previously unreleased scene above.

In July, ET exclusively debuted the clue-filled season two poster, which features the show's new tagline, “Trust No One.” The new season will welcome new series regulars Luke Mitchell (Marvel’s Agents of SHIELD, The Tomorrow People) and Michelle Hurd (Daredevil, The Glades), as well as The Good Wife’s Archie Panjabi in a major recurring role.

In the dramatic season one finale, an angry Weller (Sullivan Stapleton) arrested Jane after learning that she had been lying to the FBI the entire time about who she was after he discovered Taylor Shaw’s bones. Not only that, Phase 2 of the grand plan involves a government takeover -- and surely that won’t be pretty.

The first season of Blindspot is available on DVD and Blu-ray now. Blindspot returns Sept. 14 on NBC.
