It's official: Cat Grant has the sharpest verbal claws on TV!
Calista Flockhart ruled our screens as National City's queen of all media last year on Supergirl -- and only ET has a supercut of all of Cat's most vicious season one scenes.
Some of our favorite Cat to Kara zingers include…
- "I'm sorry, darling, I just cannot hear you over the loud color of your cheap pants."
- "I never realized how absurd you look in that ridiculous outfit. Blue, yellow and red – it's like a color wheel threw up.
- "It's not that I don’t see your frown, it's just that I don’t care enough to ask why it's there."
Even though she's been described as a "heartless, narcissistic monster," we can't picture Supergirl's world without Cat Grant, so you can imagine our excitement when it was announced that Flockhart has officially signed on for season two.
Despite the production move from Los Angeles to Vancouver, the Ally McBeal alum will reprise her role in The CW drama, but she will no longer be a series regular. Instead, the 51-year-old actress will recur throughout the sophomore season as her schedule permits.
"Supergirl wouldn’t be Supergirl without the amazing Calista Flockhart as Cat Grant," said executive producer Andrew Kreisberg in a statement. "We are so excited Calista has agreed to continue on the show when she can. We and the audience love to see her on screen."
Season two of Supergirl premieres Monday, Oct. 10 at 8 p.m. ET/PT on The CW and Supergirl: The Complete First Season on Blu-ray & DVD is available on Aug. 9.
