Lucifer is about to get hotter than ever!
Fox’s supernatural drama returns for its sophomore season with Lucifer Morningstar (Tom Ellis) discovering that his mother (Tricia Helfer) has escaped hell, and ET has your exclusive first look at the fiery new episodes.

“He doesn’t know where his mum is, so he and Amenadiel (D.B. Woodside) go on a quest to find her,” Ellis says of season two, which sees Lucifer becoming more paranoid than ever before.
Helfer hints that Lucifer’s mom “has an agenda” and a plan. “She wants to get back what was taken from her,” the Battlestar Galactica star teases. “And she wants to see her son.”
Detective Chloe Decker (Lauren German) will also begin investigating the Lord of Hell, testing her faith in Lucifer.

“We can expect more sexy, fun, frivolous tales,” Ellis teases. “But also some really heartfelt, emotional moments as we start to explore the family of which Lucifer started this journey with.” Are you in?
