Dancing With the Stars season 23 sent home its first couple on Tuesday after a two-hour live results show special.

The Fosters' Jake T. Austin and his partner, Jenna Johnson, were sent packing after two weeks of low scores and some tough criticism from the judges.

"It was so much fun. I had a blast," Austin told hosts Erin Andrews and Tom Bergeron after the elimination.

"Learning from Jenna was the opportunity of a lifetime," the actor said of Johnson, who served as a featured partner for the first time this season after spending several years with the DWTS dance troupe. "This was incredible experience."

Bergeron also shared his support with Johnson, telling the dancer, "I know we haven't seen the last of you as a pro. Welcome to the team."

Brady Bunch star Maureen McCormick, TV personality Amber Rose and Olympic swimmer Ryan Lochte also found themselves in jeopardy after the first two weeks, while the lowest-scoring star, Rick Perry, found himself safe from the first round of elimination.

While judge Carrie Ann Inaba said some credit for Perry being safe should be paid to his phenomenal pro partner, Emma Slater, it's likely the former Texas governor will be on the chopping block next week.

Meanwhile, Olympic gymnast Laurie Hernandez and longtime DWTS pro Val Chmerkovskiy, a.k.a. #TeamValaur, have been killing it since the start of the season. Check out the video below for a look at the couple's epic DuckTales dance from Tuesday's TV Week episode.
