The cast of Pretty Little Liars cemented their bond with permanent ink, after wrapping up filming on the Freeform series earlier in the week.
To commemorate the end of PLL, Lucy Hale, Shay Mitchell, Janel Parrish, Ashley Benson, Troian Bellisario, and Sasha Pieterse got matching tattoos at the Shamrock Social Club in West Hollywood, California on Thursday.
"This happened," Hale captioned an epic group shot of the new ink. "Thank you@shamrocksocialclub for taking care of us. We couldn't not get tattoos to commemorate the show! And obviously on our ‘shh’ finger."
Hale wasn't the only cast member sharing tattoo pics. Pieterse Instagrammed the same photo with a heart emoji.
Parrish followed suit, tweeting a cast snapshot with the caption, "We got the SHH immortalized #pllforever."
The 27-year-old actress shared a closer view of her new tattoo in an Instagram selfie, captioning the snap, "M. Forever."
The impromptu tattoo session represented the end of one "chapter," and a birthday celebration for Bellisario, who turned 31 on Thursday.
"Almost as the needle touched my skin the clock struck midnight and some of the most beautiful and best women I know sang me happy birthday while I got my tattoo," Bellisario captioned an Instagram pic from the tattoo shop. "Thank you guys and I love you. What a way to say goodbye and start a new chapter of life."
Benson and Mitchell retweeted the pic alongside sweet birthday messages for Bellisario.
"Happy birthday my baby," Benson gushed. "Last night was magical. Words can't describe what you mean to me.I LOVE YOU T."
"12:01 am and the birthday girl gets her tattoo! Happy birthday @SleepintheGardn," Mitchell wrote.
Although filming is officially done, fans have several months to mourn the end of PLL, as the last episodes of the sixth and final season don’t begin airing until the spring.
"The next 10 episodes of the show really are going to be the last 10 episodes of the series," executive producer Marlene King announced
in August. 'We're saying goodbye. The PLL endgame begins on April 2017."
