The This Is Uscast has each other's backs!

In its latest episode, the NBC drama left its audience particularly emotional after Jack (Milo Ventimiglia) took his 9-year-old son Randall (Lonnie Chavis/Sterling K. Brown) to a karate class. In the class, Jack was tasked with showing his commitment to his son through the physical metaphor of doing pushups with Randall on his back.

This apparently got the cast thinking.

In a series of videos posted to Twitter on Tuesday, Ventimiglia and Brown took turns doing as many pushups as they could with the other on their back behind the scenes on the This Is Us set.

"I got you @sterlingkb1," Ventimiglia tweeted. "Always brother. #ThisIsUs."

Next, it was time for the son to carry the father.

"...And I got you, pop," Brown tweeted in response.

Later, Justin Hartley (who plays Jack's son and Randall's brother, Kevin), couldn't help but join in, doing an impressive amount of pushups with Brown on his back.
