Candace Cameron Bure is the latest co-host to exit 'The View.'
Candace Cameron Bure's co-hosting gig at The View is coming to an end.
On Thursday, the 40-year-old actress announced that she's exiting The View to focus more on other projects, including Fuller House and her work with the Hallmark Channel. Bure, a mother of three, also said that continuously traveling from her home in Los Angeles to the View set in New York City has been "tough on her family."
Bure didn't give an exact date for her departure.

"It wasn't an easy decision, but before I started The View, I already had my commitments to Fuller House and my work with the Hallmark Channel and Hallmark Movies," Bure explained at the top of Thursday's show. "Because of the success of those shows, my commitments have become even greater with those shows, and the commute going West Coast to East Coast has been tough on me and my family. I want to make sure I spend as much time with my children, and invest in all the projects that I do to the fullest extent."
The departure is clearly amicable. In a statement to ET, executive producer Candi Carter notes that the show is happy for Bure's career success.
"On behalf of everyone at The View, it's been a pleasure working with Candace, a devoted mother, talented actress, and passionate co-host who never hesitated to speak her mind," the statement reads. "We are thrilled for her success with Fuller House and her Hallmark movies. She will always be a part of The View family and we will gladly welcome her back to the show to support her with all of her endeavors."
Bure thanked her co-hosts, specifically Whoopi Goldberg and Joy Behar, for welcoming her to the popular ABC show. She joined The View last year for season 19, and co-hosted for two seasons.
"I thank everyone -- Whoopi, Joy, I particularly want to thank you for welcoming me to this place and I have learned so from you, and am so grateful for you," she said.
Of course, Goldberg couldn't help but tease Bure on the decision.
"With all the sex talk we do, you probably miss your husband," she cracked, referring to Bure's hubby, retired NHL star Valeri Bure.
On Monday, Bure did joke about her "Netflix and Chill" holiday plans during her appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show alongside her Fuller House co-stars Jodie Sweetin and Andrea Barber.
