CBS' new reality series, Hunted, is being touted as "the world's most elaborate game of hide & go seek," and ET has a sneak peek!

The series, based on the U.K. TV show with the same name, injects reality into tracking down fugitives by subjecting contestants to a manhunt.

Nine teams of two go on the run in a zone of approximately 100,000 square miles with the goal of avoiding capture for 28 days.

While the rules of the game are simple, winning the contest is nearly impossible in today's vast digital world of highly skilled investigators equipped with high-tech tracking methods.

More than 30 hunters and investigators will put their skills to work, scouring through the contestants' homes as well as Internet and cell phone histories to identify behavioral patterns and determine potential hiding places that can lead to capture.
