Betty White and Carl Reiner go way back, and they opened up to ET about their decades-long friendship on the Young & Hungry set.

"I loved this girl since I first saw her on The Betty White Show," Reiner told ET's Kevin Frazier.

That was 63 years ago and both comedy legends are still making us laugh on television, well into their 90s. Reiner, 94, plays the long-lost love interest to White, 95, on an upcoming episode of Young & Hungry.

This comes after their previous reunion on White's former hit show, Hot in Cleveland.

"We were lovers in that," Reiner remembered. "I actually kissed her on the mouth and enjoyed it."

"Not necessarily on camera," White joked.

In real life, White was married to Reiner's good pal, Allen Ludden, for 18 years.

"I was under her husband's command in the Pacific. Captain Allen Ludden was my captain," he said. "When he married this lovely lady, I said, 'What a match!' I consider her my captain-in-law."

White celebrated her 95th birthday on Jan. 17 in Northern California with her best friend, Bam Bam the Grizzly Bear. Ironically, while she's quite comfortable with Bam Bam, she would be terrified if she was given the chance to have a birthday dinner with her Hollywood crush, Robert Redford.

"If Robert Redford was going to take me out, he would have nothing to take out to dinner, because I would have fainted and never come back," she joked.

Young & Hungry returns to Freeform on March 13.
