"I know it's Thursday, but this is not a TBT," the brunette beauty wrote, adding the hashtags "#BackOnSet" and "#TVDForever."

The photo Dobrev shared, which featured three lit candles and a mess of cursive-filled papers, perfectly encapsulated the eerie and elegant vibe of the long-running series.

And the good news just keeps on coming! Thanks to Dobrev, we now know that the title of Vampire Diaries' final episode is "I Was Feeling Epic."

EXCLUSIVE: 'The Vampire Diaries' Boss Says Nina Dobrev '100 Percent' Wants to be in the Finale!

Back in October, TVD showrunner Julie Plec dished to ET that they were very close to closing the deal for Dobrev's return.

"She and I have spoken and I know that she 100 percent wants to be there and I, of course, 100 percent want her to be there, and so it just comes down to stupid things like scheduling," Plec said. "Honestly, let's put it this way: I would be devastated if it weren't to work out, so I have a feeling the cards will be in all our favor."

The Vampire Diaries
