Paris Jackson is stepping into the limelight with an upcoming guest appearance on the new Fox drama, Star.

In the upcoming episode, Michael Jackson's 18-year-old daughter will make her acting debut as Rachel Wells, a super-chic and intimidating social media guru who oversees a publicity shoot of the girl group. Wells shakes things up when she deliberately goads Eva (Sharlene Taule) and Star (Jude Demorest) into pushing boundaries.

Despite never having acted professionally before, Paris has spent hours in front of cameras. She appeared on Oprah's Next Chapter in 2012 and most recently was a guest on last year's magic special Criss Angel Trick'd Up.

The casting news comes after Paris' recent Rolling Stone interview, and an encounter with paparazzi last week that left her holding back tears.

Arriving at Los Angeles International Airport after a trip to France for Paris Fashion Week, the teen was swarmed by photographers.

"I'm sorry, you guys are like, blinding me," she exclaimed. "Please stop."
