The Hercules star talked to ET's Ashley Crossan at the Directors Guild of America Awards on Saturday, where he dished on what fans can expect from his role on the CW show.

"I leave next week!" the 58-year-old actor shared. "I'm heading up to Vancouver, and I'll be doing a three-show arc, and Teri Hatcher's playing my wife."

Interestingly, Sorbo revealed that if things had worked out differently in the '90s, this would be a superhero reunion for him and Hatcher.

"Way back in 1993, I actually booked Lois and Clark, and 24 hours later they canceled me and put in Dean Cain," he explained. "But three months later, I got Hercules, so I was okay with it."

Meanwhile, this go around, Sorbo did get the part and elaborated a little bit on his stint in the series.

"I'm from another planet that's an arch-rival planet of Krypton," he said. "Which is now of course destroyed."

Can't wait to see how that works out!

Supergirl is airing Mondays at 8 p.m. ET/PT on The CW.
