'Grey's Anatomy,' 'Scandal' Picked Up for New Seasons

and How to Get Away With Murder have all been picked up for another season, ABC announced Friday.

With the renewal news, this means Grey’s will reach a 14th season, while Scandal will hit its seventh and Murder will return for its fourth.

Grey’s Anatomy, Scandal and How to Get Away With Murder continue to keep viewers on the edge of their seats and wanting more. I’m thrilled to bring back these shows and the OMG moments that come with them,” said Channing Dungey, president of ABC Entertainment.

and Murder executive producer Shonda Rhimes thanked the fans for keeping TGIT going for at least one more year.

“We simply would not be here without YOU. Season 14, 7 and 4 HERE WE COME,” she tweeted.

Grey’s
star Kelly McCreary was extremely grateful for the fans’ continued loyalty to the show, writing on Twitter, “LONG LIVE @GreysABC and #TGIT! Feeling immeasurable gratitude for our fans, who keep us thriving!!”


Kerry Washington
celebrated Scandal’s renewal with a cheeky tweet, writing, “How to cure a #Scandal Hangover… Woooooooo hoooooooooo.”

"It's great," Murder star Billy Brown told ET during a Facebook Live in the Burbank studios, sharing that creator Peter Nowalk sent an email to the cast earlier in the morning telling them the good news.
