"I love the show, but it's too much time to ask of me -- two hours is a lot of quiet time," Mayer said, joking that he would pay $50 to binge watch a full season in "30 minutes."

"Get me the helicopters, girls crying, girls crying on helicopters," said the 39-year-old singer, before detailing some of his favorite Bachelor moments. "If you get tears in flight, that is prime stuff."

When asked if he'd ever consider signing on for The Bachelor, Mayer quipped that the show would have to change its “vetting process” for contestants, and he wouldn’t expect to find love.

"I think it would be one of the lowest-rated shows," he joked.

Later in the interview, Mayer opened up about the girl sketched on the cover of his new EP, The Search for Everything: Wave Two, before confirming that he’s not in a relationship.

"I thought of this on Valentine's Day: You don't have to be with someone to be together, and I'm enjoying being together," he said.

Mayer also performs "Moving On and Getting Over" from his new EP on Friday's show, and announces that his The Search for Everything Tour will extend into the summer.
