EXCLUSIVE: Todd and Savannah Chrisley Ready for 'Dancing With the Stars' -- But There's a Catch

Could Todd and Savannah Chrisley be headed to Dancing With the Stars?
The cast for season 24 will be announced on March 1, and both stars tell ET they would love to compete.
“I would do the show if I had time, but I would only do it if I could compete against [my son] Chase and Savannah,” Todd shares.
“Yes!” Savannah says. “But you never know.”
“Yes, you do know,” Todd cuts her off. “You keep saying, ‘Daddy, I wanna do Dancing With the Stars!’ She is so thirsty for Dancing With the Stars!”
“No, I’m not!” Savannah snaps back. “I do want to do it, but at the same time, it just has to fall within [my schedule].”
“I would be the one who would win,” Todd adds. “They would go home, and I would have to pay for therapy for she and Chase.”
So, DWTS might not be in the cards this season. The family is currently focused on season five of their hit USA series, Chrisley Knows Best.
“We have a lot of real moments,” Todd says of the new season. “It's reality television. We're not a scripted show. You can't script the crazy that we have!”
The father-daughter duo promise a lot of “evolution” for the family this year as they work through the ebbs and flows of the kids growing up in the spotlight.
“Celebrity changes you in certain ways, and you can either fall into that whole routine of thinking 'I'm famous,' or you can get back to where you came from,” Todd shares. “The kids have come back to what they know.”
“Life smacked me dead in the face [this season],” Savannah adds, referencing her January car accident and breakup. “It couldn't have happened at a more perfect time, because I'm learning. You know, relationships that I've been in, they just prepare me in the end. It's just, I come to so many realizations and it's honestly, just the best feeling in the world.”
“I think you will see the kids this season actually coming to terms with, they don't know everything,” Todd teases.
Chrisley Knows Best airs Tuesdays at 10 p.m. ET on USA. The show returned last week to its highest premiere ratings ever, with nearly 3 million viewers tuning in! For more from our chat with Todd and Savannah, check out the video below.
