Reese Witherspoon's Mom Texts Her Daughter About All the 'Sex' in 'Big Little Lies' Episode
Betty Witherspoon gave Sunday's episode of Big Little Lies the thumbs-up emoji.
After the HBO show aired, Reese Witherspoon posted a photo to Instagram of a text she had received from her mother."I saw Little Lies last night and I liked it," Betty wrote.

"Great, tonight was a good one," the 40-year-old actress responded.
"Lots of sex," her mom wrote back.
"If you missed #BigLittleLies last night ... #SpoilerAlert !! ? #TextsFromMom #BettyKnowsBest," Reese quipped in the caption.

In addition to her Big Little Lies observations, Betty also recently reviewed La La Land and Manchester by the Sea for her daughter. “Ryan Gosling, hot. Love, Mom," Reese shared on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon in January. As for Manchester by the Sea, the Oscar winner recalled that her mother noted: “Orphans. Men. Sad. Love, Mom.”
Reese isn't the first celebrity to share a text TV review from a parent on Instagram. Following an episode of This Is Us, Mandy Moore also posted a few messages she received from her mom and dad, in which they said her character had "issues."
