American Gods is debuting on Starz next month, and in preparation for impending war ahead, the premium cable network has finally released the first full-length trailer of the highly anticipated book-to-series drama.

Based on the best-selling Neil Gaiman book of the same name, American Gods centers on Shadow Moon (Ricky Whittle), an ex-con who becomes bodyguard and traveling partner to con man Mr. Wednesday (Ian McShane) and is thrust into the tense chaos of a brewing battle.
The Old Gods, with mythological roots from around the world, fear irrelevance as their believers die off or are seduced by the money, technology and celebrity offered by the New Gods.
American Gods premieres Sunday, April 30 at 9 p.m. ET/PT on Starz!
