Not many people get to meet their childhood crushes, but Cole Sprouse was working with his!
During an interview with the New York Post on Wednesday, the former Disney star, now 24, revealed that he was "infatuated" with Jennifer Aniston while playing Ross Geller's (David Schwimmer) son, Ben, on Friends from 2000 to 2002.
"I had a really, really hard time working with Aniston because I was so in love with her," Sprouse confessed. "I was infatuated. I was speechless."
"I’d get all bubbly and forget my lines and completely blank," he added. "It was so difficult."
Sprouse, who graduated from NYU in 2015, now stars as Jughead Jones on The CW's Riverdale -- but says he still gets recognized for his role on Friends.
“I was only in seven episodes, but it’s funny now that people are recognizing me for that because my brother and I have been working since we were 8 months old," he said. "Because Friends is on Netflix, there’s a renewed interest from that. … People can call me ‘Ben’ on the street and I will turn around. It’s a funny little process.”
“Now people are calling me Jughead," he revealed. "It’s a strange feeling when you start getting called something new.”
