'Mindy Project' Star Adam Pally Arrested for Cocaine, Marijuana Possession

The 35-year-old actor faces two misdemeanor charges, ET has learned.

Adam Pally has found himself in trouble with the law.

The New York Police Department tells ET that the Mindy Project star -- who is also the lead in Leighton Meester's new Fox show, Making History -- was arrested and charged with criminal misdemeanor possession of both cocaine and marijuana on Tuesday.

Despite the bust, law enforcement sources tell ET that the 35-year-old actor was not taken to central booking after his arrest, and will need to report to community court at a later date.

Making History premiered earlier this month, and airs Sundays at 8:30/7:30c on Fox.
