Tyler Hoechlin to Return as the Man of Steel for 'Supergirl' Season 2 Finale
Superman is flying back to join up with Supergirl in National City!
Tyler Hoechlin, who guest stars as the Man of Steel on the hit CW series, is set to return for its upcoming second season finale, E! reports.

Hoechlin made his debut as the iconic hero during the season two premiere when he helped his super-powered cousin Kara (Melissa Benoist) with a few major crises in her fair city. He eventually departed back for Metropolis in episode two.
No details regarding the season finale's plot have been revealed, so it's still unknown what calamity requires Superman to return to his cousin's side.
Hoechlin spoke with ET last July when he first stepped into the shoes of the legendary character, and opened up on what it was like to take up the Superman mantle.

"It's such an iconic character," the former Teen Wolf star shared. "So to see yourself in it, it's kind of surreal." Check out the video below to hear more.
