Kyra Sedgwick is the latest big-name joining the star-studded line-up at the 2017 ATX TV Festival in Austin, Texas, next month, ET can exclusively reveal.
The Closer actress will be participating in a new panel titled "From Actor to 'Action!'" which will feature an in-depth discussion about the transition from actor to director and the challenges that come from stepping behind the camera.
Sedgwick recently made her directorial debut in the upcoming Lifetime movie Story of a Girl, which also stars her husband, Kevin Bacon.
"From Actor to 'Action!'", which will take place Saturday, June 10, will also feature Suits star Patrick J. Adams, Sons of Anarchy's Adam Arkin and Battlestar Galactica alum Edward James Olmos on the panel

Sedgwick will also be participating in another new ATX Festival panel entitled, "Complex not Complicated: A Look at a Woman's Character." The one-hour conversation will feature creative and actors discussing the legacy of female characters before them, the necessity of women’s stories at this particular moment in pop culture and why there’s no one way to write a “strong” woman.
Joining Sedgwick on the panel on Friday, June 9 are executive producers Liz Tigelaar (Casual), Jennifer Kaytin Robinson (Sweet/Vicious), Mara Brock Akil (Being Mary Jane) and Sweet/Vicious star Taylor Dearden.
In addition to the panels listed above, ATX fans will have the opportunity to attend events with some of TV's most beloved past, present and future TV shows including a Battlestar Galactica reunion, a live table reading of the Suits pilot, and a special screening of Lifetime's never-to-be-aired-again A Deadly Adoption with Will Ferrell.
