EXCLUSIVE: 'Chicago P.D.' Finale Sneak Peek! Lindsay's Mom Becomes Prime Suspect No. 1 After a Shooting

NBC

ET debuts an exclusive sneak peek from Wednesday's season finale.

Mother doesn't always know best.

On Wednesday's season finale of Chicago P.D., Erin Lindsay (Sophia Bush) is faced with a situation no daughter should have to navigate: Her mother, Bunny (Markie Post), suddenly finds herself a murder suspect after her boyfriend is shot.

In ET's exclusive sneak peek, Lindsay's mom frantically calls her law enforcement-employed daughter, unsure of what to do and afraid of what's about to come.

"I need you to come here. I need you right now!" Bunny desperately tells her daughter over the phone, before telling Lindsay that her beau "is dead." (Spoiler: He's alive -- but barely!) But when Hank Voight (Jason Beghe) arrives at Bunny's door instead of her daughter, she's even more confused about why Lindsay wasn't the one to come to her side.

Calls for an ambulance come almost immediately and Bunny is treated like prime suspect No. 1. "I did not do this! I just came home!" she pleads with Voight and his fellow officers.

Question is, is she telling the truth? Watch the rest of the scene to find out.

Chicago P.D.
airs its season four finale Wednesday at 10 p.m. ET/PT on NBC.
