Deadliest Catch
is paying tribute to the forgotten soldiers.

In a special Fourth of July episode, Time Bandit captain Johnathan Hillstrand honors his grandfather -- a World War II Dutch Harbor war hero -- with the largest fireworks display in the island's history, which will also celebrate the American soldiers and civilians who lost their lives in the "Forgotten War."

In ET's exclusive sneak peek, Johnathan explains why it's important to him to do this July 4th tribute. "I want to really do these men proud -- those guys who gave their lives and I want to do my grandpa I want to do him proud," he said.

When Johnathan presses the button (twice), the fireworks show begins and it's quite a sight to see.

"I'm very proud to call myself an American and I'm very grateful for all the people who fought for me. They are my real, true heroes," Saga captain Jake Anderson said. Watch the heartwarming moment above.

Deadliest Catch
