The first season of World of Dance
is has reached its final round of competition, and 14-year-old finalist Eva Igo is reflecting on her season-long journey and her evolution as a dancer.
In this exclusive look at the World Final, the Junior Division dancer opens up about how far she's come, and how she's preparing to go for the crown with her last two performances.
"When I first stepped onto the World of Dance stage, it was really scary," Igo recalls. "I didn't even think I'd make it through the first round."
Igo's mother explains how they "only brought a week's worth of clothes" when they came to L.A. for the competition show, because they had no idea how well she would do.
"But then she just goes out there and nails it," the proud mom adds. "Seeing Eva pursuing her dream here is the most joyous thing I've ever seen. She's in heaven."
Ultimately, Eva reveals that she only thought that she'd learn how to dance better by being on the show, but that she's "learned a lot more than that."
"I just believe in myself a lot more," the young dancer adds.
Watch Igo compete for the World of Dance
championship on Tuesday at 10 p.m. ET/PT on NBC.
