The life of Kerri Walsh-Jennings is full of gold, measured in three Olympic medals and endless rays of sun.

The California-bred beach volleyball superstar relocated from the northern part of the state to SoCal's Manhattan Beach, where she now resides with her husband and children. Boasting that the beach is her family's "playground," Kerri says, "Our boys love the beach so much they could just stand there for hours and just throw seashells into the water and look for crabs and make sandcastles."

Manhattan Beach also served as the training ground for Team USA's dynamic duo, Kerri and partner Misty May-Treanor.
