Millions of viewers watch each week as Cheryl Burke pours her heart and soul into choreography and dancing on Dancing With the Stars. But, her true passion resides in northern California, though, at her dance studio, Cheryl Burke Dance.

"It's just something for me to be able to share back with the community," she says of opening the studio. "And I try to get there as much as I can."

Besides the ballroom, Cheryl also enjoys to take on the slopes. "My parents had a house in Lake Tahoe and we would go skiing every single year and then I switched to snowboarding," she remembers fondly. "But, lately I haven't because I need to keep these legs nice and healthy."
