Sadly, Moira won't be there for the next Marvel mutant movie.

OK, it's official. X-Men: Dark Phoenix is saying goodbye to Moira.

Rose Byrne confirmed in a recent interview with CinemaBlend that her character from X-Men: Apocalypse and X-Men: First Class would not be a part of the next movie in the Marvel mutant franchise.

"Unfortunately, Moira is not showing up. I wish she was. I had such fun on X-Men: Apocalypse," the 38-year-old actress shared. "I love that cast. It is a really fun, what do you call it? Superhero film... ensemble, exactly. I can't wait to see what [Jessica Chastain] does, 'cause I'm such a fan."

Jessica Chastain is joining the ranks as the mysterious character "Smith" for the new movie.

While it'll be sad not to have her back, it certainly is good to have Byrne's vote of confidence for when X-Men: Dark Phoenix hits theaters on Nov. 2.

Meanwhile, in November, Hugh Jackman opened up to ET about the bittersweet feeling of passing on the torch to the next generation of X-Men.
