The Oscar nominee is a boss babe in the singer's new music video, released on Thursday.

If you've been missing Yalitza Aparicio since earlier this year when she dominated awards season with her debut film, Roma, you're in luck!

The Mexican actress makes a powerful appearance in Mon Laferte and Guaynaa's music video for their collaboration "Plata Ta Tá" that was released on Thursday. The colorful music video features the Chilean singer alongside a number of dancers as she sings her song, which is a protest against the repression and police brutality going on in her homeland.

The video was filmed in Ecatepec, Mexico, with the Oscar nominee making her appearance midway. Aparicio is seen with a bandana across her face, she pulls it down and colorful smoke surrounds her. She then reunites with Laferte to bang and beat pans with a slew of other protesters who are also holding up signs.

Thousands of Chileans have been protesting for the last couple of months over inequality and better social services in demonstrations that have increasingly turned violent. At least 20 people have died in the protests, which started in October after the government announced a hike in subway fares.

Laferte has been vocal about her feelings about the protests in Chile, even exposing her breasts at the Latin GRAMMYs to show off a strong message that read: "En Chile torturan violan y matan," which translates to, "in Chile they torture, rape and kill."

Meanwhile, ET caught up with Aparicio in August, where she opened up about the next steps following her breakout role.

"At the moment, I'm just really enjoying myself. I'm really enjoying this stage of my life, and I haven't really taken the time to focus on pursuing relationships," she told ET. "But I'm not saying never, because you can never say never."

Aparicio is currently finalizing the details on her next acting project, she revealed. "I really didn't think it would happen this soon, but fortunately, through this experience, I've been able to really take on the next step," she shared.
