Are they or aren't they? Rumors swirled that country queen CARRIE UNDERWOOD and hunky CHACE CRAWFORD from TV's "Gossip Girl" were getting cozy after reports that they were spotted canoodling in October at a New York nightclub. But she didn't take him to her award-winning night at the Country Music Association Awards in Nashville in November. So what's the deal? "He's really cute," Underwood recently told People magazine. "I've met him and he seems like a really nice guy. He's got cool hair, he's a nice height, and he just has beautiful blue eyes."

JAKE GYLLENHAAL & REESE WITHERSPOON

Donnie Darko and Elle Woods -- a couple? You bet! The two reportedly became close after shooting the drama 'Rendition' but kept a low profile until this past Halloween, when Hollywood.TV shot video of them allegedly leaving a Halloween party together in costume! Then in November, People.com reported that Reese and Jake checked in for a romantic weekend at the Carneros Inn in the Napa Valley.

They keep their relationship on the down-low, but FERGIE, "The Dutchess," and her "Las Vegas" hottie, JOSH DUHAMEL, have been going strong for three years now. The two met when she-guest-starred on the set of his NBC show, and he got "clumsy" and used the oh-so-clever opening line, "You're so hot!" Could a proposal be in the near future for these two? At November's "American Music Awards," the glamorous singer got emotional while accepting the award for "Fave Pop/Rock Female" and, while tearing up, thanked her family at home, and "my man who's here supporting me," boyfriend Josh, whose eyes were shining back from the audience!

Who knew that romance would blossom for "Grey's Anatomy" star KATHERINE HEIGL and singer JOSH KELLEY after the actress appeared in a music video for his song "Only You"? Now the two are engaged and set to wed on Christmas Day. "It's a Christmas wedding," Katherine tells our MARY HART. "I figured if I had to do Christmas, which is the only two weeks I have off every year, I wanted it to feel really Christmassy. I'm from Connecticut, so the snow is kind of the draw up to the mountains. We're keeping it really small which is nice. I can't wait! I think it's going to be the best party and day of my life ever!"

NICOLE RICHIE & JOEL MADDEN

First comes love, then comes marriage, then comes a baby in a baby carriage -- or is it the other way around? PARIS HILTON's best gal-pal is obviously putting the carriage before the marriage with new love JOEL MADDEN. After getting romantic earlier this year, the heiress and the GOOD CHARLOTTE rocker announced on "Good Morning America" in late July that they were going to become parents, and Nicole is due in January 2008. "Obviously, marriage is in our future," Madden told RYAN SEACREST on Ryan's KIIS-FM radio show. Madden added, "I don't know when or where or how, but right now our priority is our family and the baby."

Are the '30 Days of Night' hottie and the pop princess sharing more than an "umbrella-ella-ella"? Rumors began flying about these two after they both appeared on MTV's "TRL" in October and then, according to US Weekly, were spotted smooching later that day at the Pink Elephant bar in New York. Most recently, London's Daily Mirror reports that Rihanna fessed up to the romance at the World Music Awards, saying, "I would be lying if I told you we were not more than just friends. He is so hot and he is really sweet to me. When we hang out it feels right -- even though it's still pretty new."

GEORGE CLOONEY & SARAH LARSON

Vegas vixen SARAH LARSON seemingly hit the bachelor lottery when she met gorgeous GEORGE CLOONEY at the premiere of his movie 'Ocean's Thirteen.' A few weeks later, he whisked her off on a whirlwind tour of Europe, and the two were photographed smooching while he was promoting his film 'Michael Clayton' at the Venice and Deauville Film Festivals. But, alas, every star relationship has its price! At the NYC premiere of 'Michael Clayton,' Sarah walked the red carpet on crutches but seemed in good spirits. She hurt her foot when the two were involved in a motorcycle accident while he was driving in New Jersey.

"It was an accident, basically," he tells us. "We're all just happy it worked out okay."

"I've been taking care of him," Sarah added, telling us her foot feels okay. As for any injuries George himself suffered, he joked, "Road rash -- that's always fun." Oh well, looks like his heart is in good working order!
