The 'Greatest Showman' star has a new furry friend after his dog, Puppy, died last August.

Zac Efron has a new best friend.

Eight months after revealing his beloved dog, Puppy, had died, The Greatest Showman star took to Instagram to reveal that he has a new furry friend in his life.

“Hey planet ?, this is MACA. #adoptdontshop,” he captioned a sweet photo of himself on Instagram wearing black Gymshark shorts, before sharing a few kissy photos of himself with MACA to his Instagram Story.

According to rescue Bark n’ Bitches, Efron had been fostering MACA before deciding to adopt. The organization wrote on Instagram that the sweet pup “was being led to the kill room” before they stepped in and saved her. Efron then submitted an application to foster and fell in love, deciding she was too good to give up.
