Olivia Culpo Almost Faints From 100-Degree Heat on Live TV During Emmys Red Carpet
It’s getting hot at the Emmys!
Olivia Culpo nearly passed out on the Emmys red carpet on Sunday from the triple-digit heat in Downtown Los Angeles during live pre-Emmys coverage.
Culpo, who split with Nick Jonasin June, was participating in E!’s Emmys red-carpet pre-show. Just as the show was about to break for commercial, Culpo was seen bending down and nearly collapsing behind one of the podiums. Co-host Giuliana Rancic was seen tending to Culpo, who was alert, and making sure she was OK.

The Miss USA 2012 blamed the moment on the scorching weather -- it reached 100 degrees at the Microsoft Theater on Sunday afternoon.
“OMG it is SO HOT out here. Literally just almost passed out,” Culpo tweeted right after her on-camera moment, adding fire emojis to emphasize the unseasonably warm temperatures.
Culpo also retweeted a fan’s account of the moment, as seen on TV: “Olivia is about to pass out. Someone catch her.”

Modern Family star Eric Stonestreet -- dressed to the nines in a dark tux -- told ET’s Nancy O’Dell on the red carpet that he had “ice packs everywhere” to keep himself cool.
