Taraji P. Henson definitely made the most of her time in the Golden Globes spotlight.
The Empire actress took home a little gold trophy on Sunday and celebrated her win by gathering up actual cookies from her table and handing them out to stars like Lady Gaga and Leonardo DiCaprio on her way up to the stage -- a nod to her character, Cookie. Henson hustled up to the stage, and didn't hesitate to call out one of the men who helped her up there when he stepped on her train.

"Cookies for everyone tonight. My treat," she teased. "Who knew that playing an ex-convict would take me all around the globe?"
After only a few moments at the mic, Henson referenced a teleprompter message apparently instructing her to wrap things up.
"Please wrap?! Wait a minute -- I waited 20 years for this," she quipped. "My fans have been praying for this. You gotta give me time."
Henson soldiered on, thanking her family, the Fox network and Lee Daniels, among others, ending on a very sweet shout-out for her co-star.
"Terrence Howard, I am nothing without you," she declared. "Cookie is nothing without Lucious."

After accepting her award, Henson told ET that winning was worth the wait.
"That's what makes this moment so sweet, when people have seen the struggle. No one wants to hear how easy you had it," she said. "I think that's why the people are fans of me and my journey. They know where I come from."
"I am just a girl from D.C., from the hood," she continued. "I had a dream and I could have easily be a statistic. I was a single mother."
"My role is above it, and I show people that just because you had a baby doesn't mean that life is over," the actress explained.
