A first look at the highly anticipated second season of HBO hit Big Little Lies debuted on Sunday.

The show's second season -- starring Nicole Kidman, Reese Witherspoon, Laura Dern, Shailene Woodley and Zoe Kravitz -- will premiere on June 9.  In the trailer, the women deal with the aftermath of season one, when Bonnie (Kravitz) pushed down Celeste's (Kidman) abusive husband (Alexander Skarsgard) down the stairs, killing him.

"It's gonna get us," Bonnie says. "It's gonna get us all, the lie."

The trailer also features Meryl Streep as Perry's mom.

"My son is dead," she tells Madeline (Witherspoon). "I want to know what happened that night. I'm very tempted to ask you but I don't think I would get the truth would I?"

Witherspoon Instagrammed the trailer, writing, "The #MontereyFive are BACK!!! Who’s ready for #BigLittleLies Season 2?! Coming June 9th on @HBO."

ET recently spoke to Kidman at the ACM Awards earlier this month, when she said her husband, Keith Urban, had already seen a little bit of season two ahead of its return to HBO.

"He's seen some of it," Kidman said, as Urban agreed, saying, "Seen a few eps. Duh."
