The pop princess performed her final show at Planet Hollywood's AXIS on New Year's Eve.

Britney Spears lived up to her pop princess title when she closed out 2017 with a show-stopping performance.

On New Year's Eve, the 36-year-old singer ended her four-year Las Vegas residency at Planet Hollywood Resort and Casino's AXIS and admitted to her Instagram followers that the final Britney: Piece of Me concert was "bittersweet."

"Saying goodbye both to Vegas and 2017! It’s bittersweet, but I’m looking forward to an amazing 2018!!" she wrote.

Some of her performance was even aired live during Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve with Ryan Seacrest on ABC.

An concertgoer told ET that at one point in the show, Britney yelled out to the audience, "It’s almost f**king New Year's. Who is going to get naughty tonight?"

Britney's pregnant sister, Jamie Lynn Spears, and her 9-year-old daughter, Maddie, were among those in the audience to watch the final show. "Beyond proud of my sister," Jamie Lynn captioned a video taken from the concert. "Just like that, 250 shows completed and @britneyspears being the leader and paving the way. She took the risk and the others followed. Here is to 2018 and paving the way! ? Icon."

1. Britney's Concert Gets Derailed

Back in August while Britney was performing "(You Drive Me) Crazy," a man rushed the stage and was immediately apprehended by security. In a video taken from a concertgoer, the security guard can be seen wrestling with the man before body slamming him on the side of the stage. The man then hops up with his arms flailing, and this time, some of Britney's male backup dancers jump in to help hold him down.

Not long after that, Britney is made aware of the situation by two men from her team, and is heard saying into the microphone, "What's going on? ...Oh no!" She is quickly escorted backstage.

The show, however, did go on once the man was removed.

2. Britney Returns to Las Vegas Following Mass Shooting

On Oct. 11, the "Slumber Party" singer performed in Las Vegas for the first time since the Oct. 1 mass shooting in the city, which left dozens of people dead and hundreds more injured.

"Before I start the show, I just wanna say we're here for you," Britney told concertgoers. "You're here for us, and we're gonna get through this together."

3. Britney Avoids Wardrobe Whoops Thanks to Her Backup Dancers

In October 2016, Britney had a close call when a strap broke on her costume. Thankfully, her backup dancers quickly noticed the problem and were on hand to fix the situation. The whole time this was going on, Britney barely missed a beat!

4. Private Show!

In June 2016, ET's Katie Krause got to hang out with Britney during an event in Las Vegas to promote her fragrance, Private Show.

"I know Britney is one of the best-selling artists of our time, but one of the biggest things I learned during my Vegas trip was that she’s also just human," Krause noted after meeting Britney and watching her Piece of Me concert.

5. Britney Calls Out Drunk Fan

This pop princess tells it like it is! In August, Britney hilariously called out a fan who was brought up on stage and appeared a little tipsy. "Oh my goodness. You smell like you have a lot of alcohol on your breath!" she exclaimed.

When she wasn't slaying onstage, Britney was working on her fitness, hanging out with her two sons, and falling for Sam Asghari. Here's a look at her love life in 2017:
