The actress sat down with Jimmy Fallon on Tuesday's 'Tonight Show' to dish about her cute kids.

Charlize Theron is opening up about her precious daughters, and how she doesn't understand where's they learn half the stuff they know.

The Long Shot star sat down with Jimmy Fallon on Tuesday's Tonight Show and dished with her fellow celeb parent about her two kids -- 3-year-old August and 7-year-old Jackson -- and how smart -- and simultaneously confident -- they are for their age.

"With the limited amount of knowledge that they have at this age, they act as if they are masters of that knowledge, and use it consistently in a manor [as if to say], 'You're stupid, mom,'" Theron joked, as Fallon immediately understood the feeling.

"My 7-year-old said to me the other day, 'You know, Medusa is in our pool.' And I said, 'I had no idea Medusa lived in our pool? Where is she from, by the way?' And she just looked at me and said, 'New Jersey."

After sharing a few brief examples of some sarcastic and hilariously pedantic things her kids have said to her in the past, the actress admitted that she has no idea where her kids have picked up their vocabulary, or some of their skills.

"I think a stranger comes into my house at 3 a.m., because none of use these words," she joked. "The little one learned martial arts. Like, real, technical martial arts. Full, perfect, wrestling grips. I think a trainer comes in at 3 a.m. and trains her."

Recently, she walked in on her youngest daughter locking her assistant in a wrestling hold, and her assistant couldn't even get out.

"I was somewhat impressed, but I was like, 'Where is she learning all of this? Because it's not from me."

"Maybe Seth [Rogen] is rubbing off on them," Fallon quipped, referring to her friend and Long Shot co-star.

"Maybe it's Seth who's coming over!" Theron concurred, referring to the mysterious trainer who's educating her kids in the middle of the night. "Because he did karate as a kid! Yes! This all makes sense! It's Seth!"

Theron and Rogen have been working together for years on this latest project, guiding it through development, and with its release it marks one of Theron's only roles in a romantic comedy in her career.

"No, I am in movies where I kill or I get killed. Or I am just a bitch," she joked. "That's my range."

As it turns out, it was Rogen himself who inspired her and convinced her to be a part of the project.

"I'm a huge fan. I really love the movies that he makes," she explained. "I never thought that I would somehow fit into that world, but he sent me this script and there was something about it that felt grounded enough that it felt like it could really work between the two of us."

She also reflected on Rogen's famously prodigious use of weed, and reflected on how he lit up the very first time they met to discuss the project.

"It was like I was in the presence of Einstein," Theron said, surprising Fallon. "He gets so smart, he gets so focused, he gets so creative."

"Some days I would follow him and just be like, 'Please smoke. Please smoke! We need this movie to be a hit,'" Theron added with a laugh.

The Oscar winner's first rom com, Long Shot, hits theaters May 3. Check out the video below to hear more from Theron about what it was like working with Rogen on the fun project.
