ET Live is here -- and it's time to meet the hosts! 

ET's newest endeavor officially launches today, bringing you live, 24/7, up-to-the-minute updates on the entertainment news you've come to know and love from Entertainment Tonight and ETonline. With a brand new project comes brand new hosts, though some will be familiar to fans of ET. Lauren Zima and Denny Directo join ET Live from ETonline, while Cassie DiLaura, Tanner Thomason, Jason Carter and Melicia Johnson are new faces to the ET team.

Lauren Zima

Lauren is best known for covering The Bachelor, red carpets and celebrity interviews for ETonline, and most notably, for her fan favorite, the Bachelor-inspired YouTube series Roses and Rose. After graduating from the University of Missouri with a degree in journalism, Lauren worked as a journalist at a variety of outlets, including where she specialized in entertainment news and eventually oversaw all entertainment content for the entire site.

Fun Facts: Lauren is irrationally afraid of sharks and does not go in the ocean and her last meal would be a kale salad, fries and cake. Follow Lauren on Twitter and Instagram.

Denny Directo

Denny most recently served as host and executive producer of ET’s flagship YouTube show, The Daily Denny. He started working for ET eight years ago, right after graduating from the University of California, Santa Barbara, where he earned his degree in communication and film & media studies.

Cassie DiLaura

Cassie is a Detroit native who began her career while attending Syracuse University, working at both NBC (including the 2014 Winter Games in Sochi) and E! News. After graduating with a degree in broadcast and digital journalism, Cassie joined CelebTV in Chicago, creating digital videos before moving to Los Angeles. For the past two years, Cassie was a host and supervising producer for Sweety High, a media company focused on Gen-Z entertainment and pop culture content.

Tanner Thomason

Tanner has spent the last 10 years in the entertainment industry working as a writer, producer and host. Most recently, he co-hosted Hollywood Today Live, a show that started digitally then successfully made the leap to television, where he produced over 450 episodes covering daily pop culture events.

Jason Carter

Jason is originally from Albuquerque, New Mexico. He got his start in television at age 16 and hasn't stopped since. Highlights include co-hosting the huge online news show The Young Turks, the pop culture magazine show Pop Trigger and appearing on the Emmy Award-winning RuPaul's Drag Race

Fun Facts: Jason is a twin! He also has a huge fear of snakes, but owns one as a pet. Follow Jason on Twitter and Instagram.

Melicia Johnson

Melicia is originally from Atlanta, Georgia, and attended Howard University, where she studied Radio, TV and Film. She went on to receive a master’s degree from the University of Southern California in Specialized Journalism and has worked for media and entertainment outlets such as ABC News, CBS46 Atlanta, BET and Universal Pictures.

Fun Facts: Melicia has played golf since the age of five and considered pursuing it professionally. She also once recorded a single called "Robbery." Follow Melicia on Twitter and Instagram.
